Gratituesday Paris. What more can I say?

I am grateful for Paris being everything I had hoped it would be, and more. Words just fail trying to describe what I felt while there, but I will return, and I am currently studying French. "Sabrina" with Harrison Ford has been my favorite movie as long as I can remember, and it built up some very high expectations, not one of which were disappointed. "America is my country, but Paris is my home town." (quoting the movie) (okay, that's just a little over the top. I knew I shouldn't have written this post so late last night! LOL).
On a practical note, I will be wearing glasses when I return. Wind in a big city can kick up some pretty mean eye-hurting stuff. On the way back to the airport, something got in my eye. I stopped in at a local shop and they were kind enough to give me some eyedrops. The Eiffel tower from dusk to dark is a magical scene which must be experienced! Below is one of the pictures I took while standing in line, waiting for a ticket to the top.

What a beautiful picture. I would love to visit Paris one day.
Sounds like a lovely experience. I haven't done much traveling, but I did get to visit Spain while in college.

Wow...PARIS!! What a wonderful experience!!
We visited Paris in 1999. I was amazed that the Eiffel tower was so huge. I thought it was bigger than it looks in pictures. Very very interesting city. Thanks for bringing back the memory.
